Sprinkle some sugar onto half a lemon and rub into the dark area. For those who are sensitive to the citric acid in lemon juice, dilute it with a bit of water.
This will help to exfoliate and bleach the skin naturally.
It is not advisable that you apply lemon juice to your skin before sun exposure as it makes the skin more sensitive to the sun.
Problem: You can’t really put mascara on your lower lashes, because they are too short.
The trick: Smudge a little dark powder eyeshadow along the lower lash line using a small angle brush.
Why? To create the illusion of thicker and darker lashes.
Problem: You use foundation. You hope it will cover your expression lines. But instead, it makes the lines more prominent and attract the wrong attention.
- Apply a luminizing face primer
- Smooth a very (keyword!) sheer layer of foundation.
- Blend it well around the lines, making sure no excess accumulate there.
- Go easy on the loose powder. Too much loose powder will accentuate the lines.
Why? The ‘luminizing’ effect of the primer will help bounce light off the area, giving the illusion of smooth skin.
